Cloned hard drive wont boot up. used acronis migrate standard install. does anyone know how to fix this? - acronis install interrupted
I cloned a few difficult months and had a similar problem. If formatting and partitioning of the cloned disk is assigned a drive letter? That's my problem was.
When formatted and partitioned my hard drive cloning software DriveLetter asked what I wanted to assign. "This is my main hard drive, 'D' is my DVD-RW, so I assigned 'E'. It seemed logical. Then I have my drive" C "cloned" to the new hard drive and thought everything was in order. (Are you and where is it?)
I reached swap hard drives, the boots of my system, and the point where the BIOS calls, the operating system. The BIOS says the drive "C" in the file "C: / Windows / whatever ..." And guess what? My operating system is C: Windows / whatever ... "because I cloned formatting and partitioning the hard drive. Argh!
Therefore, it was to reformat and partition, and this time was the question) on the drive letter on the card as: "Which operating system for the future" (or something like that. Clone again a nd BAM! Instant flawlesLAKE start.
This of course assumes that the initial problem is that the system is the Welcome screen of Windows reached. Please come to the boot screen of Windows, and instead, a BIOS message: "Do not detect my operating system" or "Non-system disk detected" is a clone bad (no media is detected) or not properly connected to the hard drive or disk is defective (not system disk).
Hope this helps. If you need help, please add more information about this issue or write me via my contact Yahoo! Answers profile.
Good luck!
